Wine
Devil's Corner Mt Amos Pinot Noir draws from the Hazards Vineyard on Tasmania's east coast. Mount Amos is one of the mountains that forms the vineyard's remarkable backdrop.
The fruit, including a portion of whole bunches, is cold soaked and plunged twice a day until the ferment begins. Fermentation takes place in open top fermenters with hand plunging up to four times a day at its peak.
After basket pressing, the wine is settled for 48 hours then transferred to French oak barrels to age. A small proportion of the oak is new.
Deep crimson red, Devil's Corner Mt Amos Pinot Noir is a robust wine with spicy dark berry flavours and a long finish. Cellaring potential is seven years.
